Silver (Annual) Award Recognition
“Hospitals receiving Get With The Guidelines Silver Performance Achievement Award have reached an aggressive goal of treating (coronary artery disease, heart failure or stroke) patients with 85% or higher compliance to core standard levels of care as outlined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for 12 consecutive months.”
Hospitals that receive a Silver PAA receive the following recognition:
- GWTG recognition certificate
- Recognition event at Scientific Sessions in November, accompanied by ad listing all award recipients in Circulation (CAD and HF only) in December
- Recognition event at the International Stroke Conference in February, accompanied by ad listing award recipients in Stroke (Stroke only) in March
- Recognition in the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” issue in July – Silver (Annual) and Gold (Sustained) Hospitals Only
- Other events and ads as determined by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association
