Personal Leave Time (PLT)
Full-time employees accrue 23 days/year through 5 years of service, 28 days/year through 10 years, 33 days/year through 20 year, 38 days/year through 30 years, and 43 days/year above 30 years of employment. There is a 350 hour maximum on PLT. This accrued time may be used at your discretion for vacation, personal or family sick time and holidays, etc. Annually, the first 40 hours of sick time is deducted from your PLT. Afterwards, sick time can be taken directly out of your sick bank.
Paid Sick Leave
Full and Half-time employees accrue Sick Leave based on employement status and hours worked. Full-time employees accrue 56 hours per year with a maximum accural of 480 hours.
Group Health & Dental Insurance
Full-time employees pay $89.48/month for Individual Coverage and $322.24/month for Family Coverage. Half-time employees pay $161.44/month for Individual Coverage and $353.06/month for Family Coverage. These amounts can be deducted through the Flexible Spending Account mentioned later. WMC pays for the remainder of your health insurance premium. CBSA Insurance

Basic Group Life Insurance & Basic Accidental Death/Dismemberment
Full-time employees receive one times your annual salary (rounded to next higher thousand dollar) for life insurance and accidental death/dismemberment. Half-time employees receive $10,000 each for life insurance and accidental death/dismemberment. WMC pays the cost.
Available after 90 days of WMC employment.
Voluntary Term Life Insurance & Voluntary Accidental Death/Dismemberment
You may elect to purchase additional coverage for you, your spouse, and your dependents for life insurance and/or AD&D. This coverage is offered under affordable group rates.
Available after 90 days of WMC employment.
Voluntary Long Term Disability Insurance
You may elect to protect a portion of your income by contributing to purchase LTD insurance. You can enroll for 60% of your monthly income as your benefit level.
Available after 90 days of WMC employment.
Voluntary Supplemental Insurance/AFLAC
AFLAC will be providing the following supplemental insurance: Accident/Disability, Cancer, Hospital Intensive Care, Long-Term Care, Short-Term Disability, Specified Health Event. Pension Plan Information Letter
As part of the regulatory compliance, Wyoming Medical Center will file an application with the E.P. Determination Division at the Internal Revenue Service on January 31st, 2008 to request a determination regarding the continued qualification of the Wyoming Medical Center Pension Plan. 401(k) Investment Plan with Matching Contributions
Beginning January 1, 2004, Wyoming Medical Center offers a 401(k) plan. Employees make tax-deferred contributions, up to the yearly IRS limits. WMC matches 100% of the first 3% you contribute, and 50% for the next 2% you contribute. (If you contribute 5% or more, WMC contributes 4% total.) Tax Sheltered Annuity, 403(b) - AIG Valic, T. Rowe Price, employee contribution only up to IRS limits.
Shift Differential
Additional compensation for working night shift - 6 p.m. - 6 a.m., Employees receive an extra 15% of their base pay for all hours worked during that time.
Flexible Spending Compensation
You may participate in two pretax spending accounts ? health care and day care. They allow you to set aside money before taxes to pay eligible health care and work-related dependent care expenses. You may designate amounts for dependent care and out of pocket medical expenses deducted from your pay check before taxes. You may also elect to have your health insurance premium deducted pre-tax.
Three Trails Employee Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
Three Trails Employee and Family Assistance Program is a counseling agency designed to respond to the needs of employees, spouses and dependent family members of participating businesses and organizations. There is no cost to the employee or family for these services. To learn more about this service visit their web site at www.threetrailsefap.com.
Higher Prescription Reimbursement
Employees filling prescriptions at our pharmacy receive lower cost of those prescriptions as well as higher reimbursement rates than if the same prescriptions were filled at another pharmacy in town. All prescriptions are automatically billed to our insurance company reducing the reimbursement paperwork for employees.
Direct Deposit
Pay checks can be automatically deposited to the financial institution of your choice. Your pay stub will then be sent to your mailing address.
Child Care Center
Hospital owned and operated, care is available 13 hours a day, Monday through Friday, providing quality care of children age 6 weeks through 12 years of age. Space is limited. Please contact Next Generation Learning Center at 577-2990 for availability, hourly rates, and further information.
Cafeteria Discount
All items in the cafeteria are discounted 15% for employees wearing their identification badge.
Tuition Reimbursement
Financial assistance for tuition cost of pre-approved course study. Please contact Human Resources for additional information and forms.
Weekend Incentive
Additional $1.50/hour for all weekend shifts worked, beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday morning, through 11:59 p.m. Sunday night.
Highlights Newsletter
Wyoming Medical Center publishes a monthly newsletter, Highlights which covers topics ranging from human interest to administration.
Holiday Premium
A premium is paid for those working on designated holidays. Time and one half per hour worked on designated holidays.
