Our Auxilliary Volunteers

Organized in May 1953 by late administrator James G. Carr, the Wyoming Medical Center Auxiliary (formerly Memorial Hospital of Natrona County) now boasts over 200 members who donate thousands of hours of their valuable time to more than 20 areas of the hospital. Volunteers play an important role at Wyoming Medical Center, adding a special touch to the overall well-being of our patients, staff and community.

Volunteering requires no previous job experience but provides you with the opportunity to use your skills and talents and learn something new under the guidance of experienced professionals. We’re sure to find the right service area for you among our varied volunteer duties, which include delivering flowers to patients and staff, escorting patients and visitors, working in the gift shop (link), providing directions at information desks, and working on special fundraising projects, community events and health fairs.
