Tobacco Free Campus
All of the buildings and grounds of the Wyoming Medical Center campus are tobacco-free as of July 1, 2009. As your community hospital, we believe providing a tobacco-free campus is an important part of providing patients and visitors with a safe and healthy environment. We are pleased to join 16 other Wyoming hospitals who have taken the step to make their campuses tobacco-free.
We are not asking you to quit smoking or using tobacco, only that you help us provide a healthy environment for our patients and staff by not using tobacco while on the campus of Wyoming Medical Center.
We understand this may be difficult for those that use tobacco.
If you use tobacco products and need assistance during your visit to Wyoming Medical Center, we will have replacement products available for your convenience as we make the transition to a tobacco-free campus.
Tobacco-free kits, as well as nicotine gum and lozenges are available to our visitors, free of charge, at nursing stations around the facility, visitors and security desks and in the gift shop.
